Tico Lingo is a Spanish school and cultural center located in the heart of Heredia, Costa Rica. Founded with the mission of offering authentic and transformative learning experiences, Tico Lingo combines high-quality teaching with deep cultural immersion.

Our programs are designed for students of all ages and levels, from absolute beginners to advanced speakers looking to refine their skills. Each course is taught by highly trained and passionate professors who use modern and personalized methodologies to ensure real and meaningful language progress.

Beyond the classroom, Tico Lingo stands out by offering students the opportunity to live with local host families, participate in cultural activities, and explore the natural richness of Costa Rica. Programs offered

Tico Lingo offers a variety of Spanish immersion programmes designed to meet the needs of Spanish learners at every level, from absolute beginners to advanced speakers.

1. Intensive Group Spanish Course: Our core programme is the Intensive Group Spanish Course, which includes 20 hours of classroom instruction per week, led by native Costa Rican professors. Classes are small, allowing for personalized attention and meaningful student participation.

2. Private Lessons: For those looking to accelerate their progress or focus on specific goals, we also offer private Spanish lessons, which can be booked in addition to or instead of group classes

3. Super intensive program (Group + private classes): Many students choose a combined programme, taking both group and private lessons for an even more intensive learning experience.

4. Teen Spanish Summer Camp: In addition to adult immersion programs, we run a Teen Spanish Summer Camp that blends Spanish classes with daily activities, homestay experiences, and weekend excursions.

5. Faculty Led Spanish Programs in Costa Rica: Whether you’re a teacher, administrator, or community leader, we’re excited to partner with you to design the perfect Spanish immersion experience for your group.

All programmes include the option to stay with a carefully selected local homestay family and participate in cultural activities such as cooking classes, dance lessons, and guided tours. Tico Lingo’s focus on cultural connection, personalized learning, and academic excellence sets it apart.
