Texas Tech University-Costa Rica was officially inaugurated in 2018 as a full-service branch and the first degree-granting campus outside the United States, offering undergraduate degree programs, international education opportunities and executive education programs. Overseen by the colleges and departments in Lubbock, the curriculum is delivered using the same outcomes, academic standards, and syllabus design. This satellite campus delivers Texas Tech programs aligned with the region’s economic opportunities, it helps students reach international academic standards in an environment that nurtures experiential learning, autonomy, inclusion, and a love of learning.

Located in San José, in one of the most ambitious mixed development projects in the country, it is a small, state of the art campus in a clean, safe area with restaurants, movie theaters, and a range of stores, where you will find innovation, sustainability, comfort & technology all in one place.
