International Clinical or Community Rotations: supervised practical interventions in nursing homes, public and private schools, hospitals or centers specialized in pediatrics and geriatrics, in which we ensure opportunities for interaction and professional development, working with different populations that strengthen the skills and knowledge that health professionals need today. Students can apply individually according to their goals and expectations.
Service Learning: field sessions in vulnerable communities. Projects and activities focus on prevention, health and the promotion of quality of life. Learning occurs through human contact and direct interaction with people with different disabilities and special conditions in vulnerable areas of our country.
Interdisciplinary Community Impact Missions (faculty-led): groups of students led by professors from their institution in conjunction with USP staff, participate in a set of activities programmed to learn how we restore, remedy and rehabilitate the level of functioning and independence of people. The scheduled itinerary includes workshops, observation visits, supervised field interventions, community interactions, interactive talks, and recreational/cultural experiences.
Student Exchange: Students can spend an academic period (15 weeks) taking classes at our university. Students from partner and non-partner universities can apply. Specific requirements and costs apply for students from non-partner institutions and Proficiency in Spanish is required.
